With so much information flowing in and out on Lark, being able to quickly find them could make a huge difference between order and chaos. With the powerful search function, you can easily locate anything from your message list, contacts, Docs, Help Center or other applications. The search results are sorted in descending order of importance, so you can quickly view all the information to ensure that important items are prioritized.
Quick Search on Desktop
Click the search box at the top left of the main page, or use the shortcut Cmd + K (default shortcut) to go to the search interface.
Note: Click on the profile photo to enter the settings - shortcuts, you can view, modify and set up more shortcuts to customize your preference.
To search messages, Docs and others, enter the keyword to quickly find the item. On the right of the search interface, you can filter based on message types, senders, private or group chats and the period of time.
Quick Search on Mobile
Click the search box at the top of the main page to go to the search interface then enter the keywords.
Click on the search results to view the contacts, groups, messages or Docs that you're looking for.
Search within a private or a group chat
Suppose you remember the item you're looking for is from a specific chat, you can search within a private or a group chat directly to find it more efficiently. Click on the search icon on the right sidebar, enter keywords to view based on types, whether it is messages, Docs, Wiki or others.
