This article introduces the available features in meetings such as : Magic Share, subtitles, in-meeting chat, Labs, joining permissions, live streaming, inviting others to a meeting, pinning a participant's video, and changing the layout.
1. Magic Share
During a video meeting, participants often need to share content, so we've developed the Magic Share feature to bring you a smooth, productive sharing experience.
- •Multiple file types supported: You can now share Lark Docs or Sheets in a video meeting. Also, you can import different types of files to share.
- •Instant viewing at your own pace: When a file is being shared, you can click anywhere on the screen or scroll to view it at your own pace. When you are done, simply click To presenter to follow the person who's sharing.
- •Switching between presenters with ease: The current presenter can pass on sharing to someone else without restarting the session, keeping everyone engaged. Switch seamlessly, collaborate smoothly.
- •Real-time collaboration: Meeting participants can leave comments or co-edit the shared content at the same time. This way, everyone can participate in the discussion and interact remotely in real time.
Click the Magic Share icon to share Lark Docs or Sheets.

2. Subtitles
When subtitles are turned on during calls or meetings, participants' voices will be automatically converted into text in real time.
- •Search, filter, or copy subtitles.
- •See screen and file sharing activity in subtitles.
- •View all subtitles at any time.
- •Real-time English-Chinese translation for subtitles.
In a call or meeting, select More - Turn subtitles on to start using subtitles.

3. In-meeting chat
In a video meeting, participants can use the in-meeting chat to send messages, emojis, links, and more.
- •Interact and participate in discussions by sending messages, emojis, and more.
- •Easily hide or show the chat to prevent disruptions.
The in-meeting chat is enabled by default, and you can type in the message field to send messages. Click the > icon to hide the chat, and click < to show it again.

4. Labs
Go to Labs to try out innovative and customized features on your meetings!
- •Dynamic layout: Multiple participants who are speaking are displayed at a time.
- •Video touch-up: and even your skin tone.
- •Background blur: Blur your background while remaining in focus.
- •Reduction of keyboard sounds: Automatically reduce keyboard sounds on your end.
- •Reduction of background noise: Reduce background noise on your end to prevent disruptions.
Click the More icon to go to the Labs settings page, where you can enable or disable features including dynamic layout, video touch-up, background blur, reduction of keyboard sounds, and reduction of background noise.

5. Joining permissions
The host of a video meeting can set joining permissions to place restrictions on who can join the meeting. Currently, four options are available: anyone can join, only people from the organizer's company can join, only selected contacts and groups can join, and only people invited by the host can join.
- •Keep meetings secure by setting different joining permissions.
- •Manage participants by restricting invite permissions.
The host can click Host controls to set joining permissions.

6. Livestream a meeting
In a meeting, the host can click the More icon on the control bar and select Start livestreaming. Participants can share the livestream link, and people from the same company as the host can open the link in a browser, log in to Lark, and watch the livestream. 7. Invite others to a meeting
To invite someone by directly calling them, choose an option:
- •Open the suggestions list. If you find the person you want to invite, click the Call icon next to their name.
- •Search for the person you want to invite and click the Call icon next to their name.
To share a meeting invitation, click the Share icon next to the search box.
- 8.Pin a participant's video or change the layout
In a meeting, the main video you see usually shows the active speaker, and might keep switching between participants when multiple people chime in. If you want to set a participant's video as the main video instead, choose an option:
- •Double-click the participant's video.
- •Hover over the participant's video and click the Pin icon.
To unpin the video, choose an option:
- •Double-click the participant's video again.
- •Hover over the participant's video and click the Unpin icon.
- •Click Unpin in the top left corner of the main video.
In a meeting, you can change the video layout to suit your needs. There are 3 video layouts available: gallery, sidebar, and speaker.
In the top right corner:
- •Click the Gallery icon to see up to 9 participants a time.
- •Click the Sidebar icon to see the active speaker with additional participant videos shown on the side.
- •Click the Speaker icon to see only the active speaker.
