With Trello Connector, you can link multiple boards to a Lark chat, centralizing team communication and updates in one place. Trello Connector allows you to create, search and share Trello cards without leaving Lark.

About Trello Connector
Trello Connector allows you to do the following without leaving Lark:
- •Get notified on updates on your Trello boards across different accounts.
- •View, search and manage Trello cards in a Lark chat.
- •Create Trello cards in a Lark chat.
- •Share Trello cards with other members on your team.
- •Add Trello Connector to different group chats and customize notification settings for each group.
Trello Connector runs on both Lark mobile and Lark desktop, and all features are supported.
You can install Trello Connector from the Lark App Directory. In case you see an alert that Trello Connector hasn't been enabled or installed in your organization, contact your administrator to enable it for your tenant.
Note: To use Trello Connector, you must have at least one Trello account to connect to.
I. Connect to your Trello account
To get started, authorize Trello Connector to access your Trello account.
Open the chat with Trello Connector bot in Lark and type
@Trello Connector. Click Information and Settings on the returned card to open the app in the chat's sidebar, then click Authorize.
Follow the prompts to log in to your Trello account and grant required access to Trello Connector. Once you're successfully connected, Trello Connector will send a success message in the chat.
Add another account
Trello Connector supports connecting to multiple Trello accounts, so you can manage and get notified on all your Trello cards in one place without having to switch accounts.
To add another account, open the app sidebar, click Accounts on the Info tab, or click your profile image on the Boards tab. An Account list is displayed, listing all your connected Trello accounts. Click Manage accounts.
Click Add another account - Switch Account, then repeat the authorization procedure as described above. Once your account is successfully connected, it'll appear in the Accounts list.
II. Configure boards and notifications in chats
Trello Connector can send notifications to Lark chats to inform chat members of the latest updates on the associated Trello boards.
First, open a group chat and add Trello Connector bot to the group. For more information about how to add a bot to group chat, see Use bots in groups.
Note: You can also configure boards and notifications in the private chat with Trello Connector. In that case, skip this step.
To open the app sidebar, type
@Trello Connector in the chat and click Information and Settings on the returned card. In the app sidebar, click Settings.
In the Settings page, click Add board to add boards that are relevant for this chat members.
In the Add Board page, select boards as appropriate. If you want to add boards from another account, use the selector at the top of the page to switch between accounts. Then click Save.
You can view your selected boards in the Add Board page, Boards section.
In the Notifications section, specify the events you want to receive notifications for. As several event types are available for Card, click Add event to select or unselect event types as appropriate. Then click Save to save your settings.
When your selected events take place, Trello Connector will notify you in the chat. Click View in Trello to open the card in your browser, or click View in Connector to open it in the chat's sidebar.
III. View, search and manage cards
To view your boards, type
@Trello Connector in the chat and click Boards on the returned card.
In the app sidebar, the Boards tab displays all boards in your current account, and boards are grouped by the associated teams. The Personal boards section displays your private boards, and the Recently viewed section displays the 3 boards you opened most recently.
To view the boards in your other connected Trello accounts, click the profile photo at the top of the sidebar and select another account as appropriate.
Click a board to view its cards. Cards are displayed by lists. Use the dropdown at the top to switch between your lists and view the tasks in each list.
Click each task to view its details in the sidebar. Click the Edit icon to edit the card name, due date, members, labels and description, or move it to another list. Click the Browser icon to open the card in your web browser in Trello.
To search for a card, click the Search icon at the top of the app sidebar and enter your search term. Alternatively, type
@Trello Connector search <search_term> in the chat. The bot replies with a card displaying the number of returned results. Click View Search Results to view all the associated cards in the sidebar.
IV. Create cards
To create a card via command, send
@Trello Connector create <card_name> in the chat. Click Create Card and specify the card name, board, list, due date, members, label and description in the Add card sidebar.
@Trello Connector in the chat and click Boards on the returned card. Select a board and a list to which you want to add the card, then click Add card. In the Add card page, specify the rest of the properties of the new card.
You can also create a card directly from a chat using message shortcuts. Hover over a message in chat, click the ... icon,
You can also create a Trello card from the Lark chat's message field. Click the + icon in the chat's message field, select Trello Connector in the menu, specify properties for the card and click Save.
V. Share cards
To share a card with other members in Lark, type
@Trello Connector in the chat and click Boards to open the app sidebar. Go to the card you want to share and click it to open its details page.
Click the Share icon in the card details page, select the chats you want to send the card to and click Confirm - Send.
Card information is sent to the selected chats. Chat members can click View details on the card to open the card in Trello.
VI. Get support
To get support while using Trello Connector, type
@Trello Connector in the chat and click Information and Settings on the returned card. In the Info sidebar, click Get help to initiate a chat with your own Lark Assistant. Click view help docsto open this help article. You can also check the available commands in the Command section.
VII. Log out
To disconnect your Trello accounts from Trello Connector, go to the Info sidebar and click Accounts - Manage accounts. Click Remove to disconnect associated accounts.
Can I add Trello Connector to a group chat? How do I do it?
Yes, you can add Trello Connector bot to a group chat so the bot can send notifications to inform chat members on thelatest updates on the associated Trello boards. To add the bot to a group, open the group chat, click Settings - BOTs - Add Bot, select Trello Connector, and click Add.
