At Lark, we want to help and protect the health and safety of yourselves, your family and colleagues, and keep in line with national prevention efforts.
On February 2, 2020, we launched the Health Report app to help companies collect and analyze information such as employees' health status, locations and travel information. This helps companies minimize the risks of the epidemic.
Below is a detailed introduction to using Health Report.
The app requires a simple configuration by the administrator before the entire team can use it.
🍃How to configure Health Report?
For registered users, all employees can use the app after the administrator sets it up.
1. Click App Directory, search for Health Report and install. You will proceed to the company management page.
2. Choose Workplace - All Apps, find Health Report on the list, and click the button on the right of Enable and Configure to enable it for all staff.
Once done, the administrator can set up the Report Rules according to the requirements of the company.
Employees can fill out the report on any of their devices with Lark, whether on desktop or mobile. The app administrator can then check the health status of employees and analyze the data from employees.
There are three steps for the administrator to set up the Health Report.
Step 1: Open Health Report
The administrator enters Workplace on Lark, and click Health Report.
Step 2: Set the rules
1. On Health Report, click Templates on the upper right, and click Add New Rules.
2. Select the System Templates, and click Daily Health Report to set up the report rules.
Note: If you want to delete the rules, click ❌.
💡 A detailed description of the report rules
Report period
- Report period is set as 0:00 - 23:50 by default.

Certain days that reports do not need to be submitted can be set (Monday to Friday).

Submission deadlines can be set, and those submitted after the deadline will be considered as late submission.

Auto Notification: If the notification is turned on, the administrator will receive a message of the detailed daily report data before deadline.

Automatic Reminder: If the reminder is turned on, the system will automatically send a reminder to the employees who have not filled in the report.
Reporters
The system selects all employees by default. The administrator can also cancel all employees, and set up specific reporters.
Report items
The administrator can modify the report item on the template. To add a new item, click Add Report Item. To modify the item, click the item to proceed to the edit page. The report question, the report item, and the format are modifiable. The required fields can also be reset.
Report location
If you need confirmation of employees' locations, you can turn on the option of Report Geographic Location to retrieve location data, Country, City, District.

Step 3: Check Dashboard
Health Report also tracks and analyzes all the submission statuses. It helps the administrator to visually understand all the employees' health conditions.
After the administrator enters Health Report, click Dashboard on the upper right, then select the specific statistics. The administrator can view the data by date, compare submission status on different dates, and predict future trends and conditions.
The administrator can also export the data to Lark Docs with one click and analyze it on their desktop. Click Export Now to export the report data.
💡The exported file type is Lark Sheets. This means the file will be stored directly in Lark Docs. The administrator can log in to their Lark desktop app and find it on Lark for further analysis.
💡 After the administrator completes setting up the report rules, employees will receive a notification on Lark. Employees can follow the steps below to fill in the Health Report app.
👷♀️ How to use Health Report
1. Open Health Report
Employees can access the app in two ways:
Method 1: Open Lark on the phone - Click Workplace - Click Health Report
Method 2: After receiving a Health Report Bot notification, click on the message, and select Write Your Health Report
2. Fill in required info
If you use Method 1, you must click Write Your Health Report to complete your health report.
If you use Method 2, you are automatically directed to fill in your health report.
After entering the Daily Health Report interface, click on the arrow on the right side of the prompt and truthfully select the options according to your real situation.
🎉 After filling in all the required fields, click the Submit and you're done!
Note: If this is your first time using the app, you will see a message box that asks for your permission to access your current location using GPS. Click Confirm to continue. This application collects the user information per national laws and regulations to ensure the security of our users and their data.
💡FAQs
1. How do I view my previous reports?
Click Review in the bottom right corner on the main page to see all your previous reports.
2. How do I re-edit the submitted reports?
On the Review page of all your previous reports, click the one you want to edit to land on the details page. Use the Edit button on the top of the page to correct your report. After all edits are made, click Submit.
3. How do I fill in the overdue reports?
Method 1: Click on the notification message on that day to fill out the report.
Method 2: Go to Workplace - Health Report, and the overdue reports will appear on the homepage. Click to fill them out.
4. The location feature doesn't work. What should I do?
5. How can I have permissions to set up the report rules?
The administrator (the creator of the organization) has the right to set up the report rules. If you want others to have the right to set up the rules, they will need to be the administrator. Please refer to Manage Apps in Lark: Permissions for detail.
6. If my colleagues do not use Lark, can they still use this function?
Colleagues who do not use Lark or are not from the same company, will not be able to access Health Report. You can invite your colleagues to register Lark to use Health Report. Please refer to Mange users.
