Q: How to mute chat notifications?
A: Chat notifications are enabled by default. If you don't want to receive notifications from a chat anymore, you can turn off notifications in the following ways:
- •Desktop: Right-click the chat and select Mute notifications; or enter the chat, click Settings on the right and disable Notification.
- •Mobile: Enter a chat, click More on the upper right corner, select Settings and disable Notification.
Q: What's the difference between all new message notifications and only specific message notifications?
A: In Settings - Notifications, you can select Message notifications to be All new messages, Buzz messages, or Mentions. You can also choose to Turn off message notifications during calls and meetings.
If you select All new messages, there will be banners to remind you whenever you receive new messages. You can also choose your preffered Banner notifiication.
If you select Buzz messages or Mentions, you'll only be notified on these messages via banner, but the system will still show the total number of messages you receive.
Q: How can I move a chat to Chat Box?
A:
- •Desktop: Right-click the group to choose to Mute notifications and move to Chat Box.
- •Mobile: Enter a chat, click More in the upper right corner, and select Settings - Move to Chat Box.
Note: Chat Box will only be displayed in the conversation list when it contains at least one chat.
