III. FAQs
Why do I need to switch between team identities?
Each team identity will confer access permissions to information, chats, emails, and other functions related to that particular team. With multiple team identities, you can conveniently collaborate with people from different teams and better manage your workflow. Using the wrong team identity may result in problems such as having no permission to view certain documents or failure to access previous chats.
How many team identities can I have?
You can have unlimited number of team identities under one Lark account. However, you won't be able to create new teams if you have over 10 identities under your account, including both personal identity and team identities. You'll still be able to join new teams.
Will I be notified of unread messages under other team identities?
Yes. Find all your identities in the left navigation bar for Lark desktop, or click on your profile photo to see all your identities for Lark mobile. The number of unread messages for each team will be shown in the upper right corner of the team icon.
Note: This feature is currently unavailable on Lark web. You can download Lark desktop or Lark mobile from the official Lark website.
