This article introduces how to jump to a specific part of a doc using the anchor feature.
Function overview
You can set section titles as anchors to quickly jump to a specific part of a doc. This makes it easier for users to quickly navigate certain chapters, sections or annotations of their interest.
Create anchors
- 1.Find the specific part you want to jump to, and set the content title in style (H1 to H9).
- 2.Hover cursor over the = icon on the left side of the title, and select Copy link to copy its anchor link.
- 3.Go to the text you want to link to an anchor, select the desired texts, and click the Hyperlink icon in toolbar to insert the copied anchor link.

Q: Who can set anchors in a doc?
A: Any user who has edit permission.
Q: Can I set non-titled text as an anchor?
A: No. Currently you can only set texts in title style as anchors.
Q: What is the difference between anchor links and original doc links?
A: Anchor links are generated from original doc links. Usually, anchor links have additional "#+Title code" at the end of the original doc link.
Q: If I insert an anchor link of doc A in doc B, will it lead to the corresponding place in doc A?
A: Yes. Anchor links are supported across docs.
