What's smart transfer?
Smart transfer is an innovative Sheets function that allows you to transfer sheets into a grid or kanban.
Transfer a sheet into a grid: Display data in a more organized way. You can also group and label data.
Transfer a sheet into a kanban: Display data and tasks as cards that can be organized and managed by dragging.
What can smart transfer do?
- •Data grouping: Product department can transfer a sheet into a grid to group by type and analyze user feedback.
- •Project management: Project managers can transfer a sheet into a kanban to list tasks by status.
- •Data management: Marketing and Sales can transfer sheets into grid to auto-transform columns into fields that save specific types of data.
II. How to use smart transfer?
Transfer a sheet into a grid
Select a sheet or an area (data in the first row must be well-formatted). Then click the Smart transfer button in the toolbar. You'll be entering a preview panel for grid where you can re-set grouping conditions. Click the Transfer button in the upper right corner to create the grid as a new sheet.
