Function overview
Lark Admin allows company founders, super administrators, and company information managers to customize the navigation bar on Lark mobile or desktop app for all members in a unified manner.
Procedure
- 1.Go to Lark Admin > Settings > In-App Navigation Bar. Select the mobile or desktop app and then click Edit in the upper-right corner.
- 2.In the action area, you can drag different app icons back and forth to change their order, or up and down to change their group. We recommend you place important and frequently-used apps in the global navigation menu and less-used ones in the quick navigation menu.
- 3.The corresponding preview is displayed on the right side.
- 4.You can also increase or decrease the number of apps based on your company's needs.
FAQs
Q: I can only see the global navigation menu. How can I open the quick navigation menu?
A:
Mobile: Tap in the middle of the global navigation menu and swipe up the grey bar.
Desktop: Click the ... icon at the bottom of the navigation bar.
Q: How can I add a custom app?
A: Custom apps can be developed on Lark Open Platform. They're only available to your members in Lark Workplace once they're approved by the administrator. The feature of adding custom apps to the navigation bar is still in greyscale test. Please contact customer service if you need assistance.
