Administrators can transfer the emails of terminated members to other active members or to a public mailbox, and check the email transfer status for all terminated members in the email recycle bin. This is applicable to the following scenarios:
- 1.When work handover is required for a terminated member, administrators can transfer this member's emails to other active members.
- 2.When a member from a department is terminated, administrators can transfer this member's emails to a public mailbox which will be managed by the Human Resources Department.
Note: Email addresses of terminated members will be unable to receive emails. You must go to the email recycle bin to delete and release the email address if you wish to reassign this email address to another member.
Transfer the emails of members about to be terminated
When a member is to be terminated, you can choose to transfer his/her emails to another member or to a public mailbox. You can also choose to not do so, and transfer the emails to the email recycle bin instead.
- •Administrators can view transfer statuses in the email recycle bin.
- •After the transfer is completed, two folders will appear in the corresponding member's mailbox or in the public mailbox, which will store the sent and received emails of the terminated member.
Transfer the emails of terminated members
Before the email recycle bin is online, the emails of terminated members are all stored on the system server and can be viewed and transferred in Email recycle bin or Member and Department > Terminated members.
