You can sync your Outlook calendar with Lark Calendar to view and edit events from your Outlook calendar in Lark. You can also create new events or edit existing events in Lark, and sync the changes back to your Outlook calendar.
Note: These instructions also apply to Exchange, Hotmail, and Office 365 accounts.
Add an Outlook calendar account
Open Lark Calendar, click the + icon on the sidebar, and select Add third-party calendars.
If you're using the Lark mobile app, click the Calendar icon in the upper-right corner and select Add third-party calendars.
In the Third-party calendar management window, select Outlook Calendar, and click Add.
In the pop-up, enter your Outlook email account and password. Click Login to allow Lark to access your Outlook account.
Note: If a security restriction of Microsoft is triggered during the binding process, the binding is likely to fail. Lark is trying to resolve this problem.
After syncing your account
On the Calendar sidebar, you can view your synced Outlook account.
- •By default, the Outlook account is selected, so you can view synced events from your Outlook calendar in Lark Calendar. Deselect your Outlook account if you don't want to display events from your Outlook calendar in Lark.
- •You can also modify the information of events synced from Outlook and then sync the new information back to Outlook.
- •When you create a new event, choose whether to sync it to your Outlook account as well.
Remove a synced account
To remove your Outlook account and stop syncing calendars,
hover over Outlook calendar, or click the Calendar icon in the upper-right corner on the mobile app to enter the calendar management page, then click Manage accounts, click Manage accounts, and click Remove in the Third-party calendar management window.
Will all my events and updates in Lark be synced to my Outlook calendar?
No. Event information is only synced to Outlook when you choose to create an event in Outlook or sync changes to Outlook. Other events from your personal calendar or public calendars won't be synced to your Outlook calendar.
Why the system show "Failed to automatically identify server URL" when I added account and password?
This scenario happened because your tenants are set up on private clouds. Please click "How to find sever URL" or get the server address from administrator, and then log in.
Why does the system prompt that my account password is incorrect even though I know it is correct?
If your email password is correct, yet you still receive the Unable to verify email address or password, please try again message, then one or more of the below problems may exist. Please troubleshoot as follows:
- 1.Has your license expired?
Sometimes, login errors may be a result of an expired software license. Please contact your company to renew your license.
- 2.Is two-step verification enabled on your Exchange account?
You will have to disable two-step verification on your Exchange account to sync your calendars.
Login to your Microsoft account, go to the menu on top to enter the Security page. Go to Two-step verification settings in the upper-right corner and disable it to function.
