Use templates in announcements to efficiently post announcements for members to read and manage frequently used information and related links. When you create or edit an announcement, you can choose to create a department group announcement template, project group announcement template, topic group announcement template, event group announcement template, or meeting group announcement template to efficiently send group messages.
- 1.Click the Announcement icon in the group chat sidebar to enter the editing page.
- 2.Click the templates at the bottom to preview the templates. Once you've decided on a template to use, click Use Template and the template content will be directly inserted into the announcement page.
- 3.Fill in the information on the template, or edit it as applicable.
- 4.Once you're done editing, click Send to group in the upper-right corner to send the edited announcement to every member of your group. Click Close to leave announcement editing page.

Department group announcement templates are made to manage communications within the company. It is adjusted to each company's structure or organizational structure, and other department groups may also be created or derived.
Not only can you use the department group announcement template to send important notifications in group announcements, but you can also use the template to distribute your team's work, share work information, specify member allocation, and make arrangements for important steps.
Project group announcement templates are designed to facilitate the collaboration of specific projects, and the template will remain available until the project ends. Other project groups may also be created as a result.

Topic group announcement templates are made to discuss popular topics. The template will remain available until the specific topic's popularity begins to decrease. Other topic groups may also be created as a result.
Use the topic group announcement templates in announcements to send important notifications, standardize community rules, and determine important notes. New group members can use the group's FAQs to learn about frequently asked questions. They can also use the Related groups' group card to join topic groups they're interested in.
Event group chat announcement templates are commonly used to promote events and will remain available for an undetermined period depending on the event's organizing group. Other event groups may also be created as a result.
Use the event group announcement template in announcements to send notifications, arrange the event schedule, and post relevant activity notes. The file-sharing link in the Docs can also be used to receive feedback and update on important Docs in the group in real-time.
Meeting group announcement templates are often used to keep track of a meeting and will last until the meeting ends. Other meeting groups may be created as a result.

Will the content be directly inserted into announcements after I edit the template?
Yes. Once the announcement template has been created, the template's content will be directly inserted, and you can edit and modify the template on the announcement page.
Can every member of the group edit the announcement?
Unless announcement edit permissions for the specific group have been set, every member can edit the announcement. The group owner can control the announcement's edit permissions. Members with edit permissions can edit announcements and sync the announcement with all group members.
Can the announcement templates be hidden or displayed at any time?
Templates can only be inserted into blank announcements. If text content already exists in the announcement, then you will have to select all content to delete before the announcement templates pop-up will show up.
