You can customize Request in the Attendance app. Manage settings such as turning it on/off, turning individual request types on/off, and configure custom request links.
Go to > App Settings > Request and click Configure Now to configure the following settings.
1. Turn Request on/off
You can turn on/off Request at the top of the page.
When turned on: Request will appear on the Attendance app, allowing users to conveniently submit requests for leave, overtime, and business trips.
When turned off: Request will be hidden from the app, and users won't be able to submit requests using the app.
2. Request settings
When Request is turned on, you can turn individual request types on/off as well as configure custom request links.
Turn request types on/off
You can turn on/off individual request types using the Status bar on the right.
When turned on: This request type will appear on the Request page in the Attendance app, allowing users to submit requests.
When turned off: This request type will be hidden from the app, and users won't be able to submit any requests of this type.
Note: You can also turn Request records on/off. When turned off, Request records will be hidden from the Request page and employees won't be able to view their Request records using the Attendance app.
Edit request types
The system provides several common Approval request types by default. Click Edit to the right of a request type to edit the description and request method (you can change the request method to a custom link). You can't change the icon or name of the request type.
What are the differences between the methods of Approval and of a custom link:
- • Approval: Users will be redirected to Approval to submit the request. If you need to modify the request form or approval flow, you must do so by going to the Approval Admin.
- •Custom link: Users will be redirected to a custom website to submit the request. You can enter a link that will redirect to a page in your company's self-built system.
