The company, founded in Singapore works to bring leading Japanese skincare brands like SK-II, Shisedo and more to a growing legion of beauty-obsessed consumers in Southeast Asia. The Challenge

In the beginning, Osakakuma relied on basic, off-the shelf communication platforms like WeChat that were not built for proper enterprise-grade collaboration and communication.

In particular, WeChat was unable to handle the complex documentation and chat management that the growing Osakakuma team needed. Also, unlike Lark’s global server footprint, other solutions the team tried had geographical restrictions, making communicating with regional teams a hassle.
